I don’t know if its because I watched Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at a young age, or if it was that time when I was super young at an all inclusive resort, mind blown about the “free” pizza… but I think we can all agree that pizza is powerful.
Funny enough, we are all here because we are in the crypto space. Pizza plays a big role in the crypto world.
Everyone knows about the 10,000 bitcoin per pizza, the infamous first real world purchase made with bitcoin.
It was like that orc in lord of the rings that runs down with the fire to sacrifice himself for the greater good.
There are a lot of different crypto communities who emulate the pizza narrative.
Hexologist, a famous hexican, famously bough some pizza with a lot of hex, and kept track of how much his hex would have been worth had he kept them instead of buying the pizza. Quite a good marketing play, assuming the price plays along (it did in hex’s case)
Personally there was a time I was craving a specialty pizza but couldn’t afford it, funny enough a whae steem a lot of people didn’t like showed up out of nowhere and gave me a nice big $20 upvote and said “go get yourself a pizza”. What a powerful moment that was!
Tomorrow I am going to pick up a pizza for lunch, so excited haha the emotional attachment we have with food, especially while losing weight, is truly something interesting.
