It’s Nineties Friday! So me and Ashlee are picking tunes from 1999! Hard to believe it was 1999 25 years ago 🤯.
We both picked two very influential albums from 1999. Not huge mainstream bands/records but two bands who ea I put out there second and most well known records in 1999.
Ashlee picks the band The Get Up Kids Andrew songs off there 1999 album “Something To Write Home About” which was released by Vagrant records.
Gene also picked an album out on Vagrant records in 1999. Saves The Day’s “Through Being Cool” record.
These albums were released to huge underground following. Me & Ashlee met when we were 30 but we both got a re I to this music in our late teens and twenties. These albums went on to influence a whole new scene over the years.
