#801 - Random Shots in Cordillera.
Happy Sabbath evening dearest Hiveans. It's raining the whole day here and I woke up late before ten in the morning, I started to wash the week long laundry which we have accumulated. There's rain so it's not easy doing the laundry and hanging it to dry also will take some time perhaps two days since there's no warmth or heat coming from the sun to dry the laundry faster, this time it's just going to be the wind.
Moving on to our shote of the day we got here random photos we have taken during our stays in the city of pines for several occasions so this is like an accumulation of random shots. This first one was inside the park and there's a small ambulant cafe there that offers several kind of coffee flavors and teas, there's also several kinds of pastries and sweets. I don't like eating sweets except chocolates but the wife ordered this and a tea so I ate some slices.
Then one random day while also visiting the mansion which is the second home of the country president, we also went to this old American style house that offer quality western kind of meals. I didn't know the fancy place existed but thanks to the wife looking online for a restaurant yo eat at.
We didn't ordered rice meals just some flavorful bread and this large bowl of lasagna which is good enough for the two of us. I don't mind eating in fancy restaurants once in a while but I do mind the price, if it's too expensive then I always tell her to look for other restaurants like Chinese ones since I love eating chicken feet and other dimsums.
The view in this place is what attracts a lot of people because the place is cosy and great for photos as remembrance when visiting their city so some people on other platforms say this place is a must visit which I kinda agree but it's kind of pricey so that will be the last visit to this place for me.😅
This was taken when we went to the viewing area in Banaue which is in Ifugao. My wife and I spent some time observing the rice terraces in the area but is has been abandoned and no longer being maintained by the farmers unlike in Batad.
This photo of me was taken by the wife inside Burnham park just near the place where we got the tea and food.
Then this one was inside a small eatery wherein the delicacy of the locals are offered. My wife and I ordered two of their viands and it was very fulfilling. Plus we got a chance to take a photo of this artsy they have on their wall.
Follow me on my nature travels.
Shot taken in Baguio city and Ifugao, Philippines.
