- 1 cup of white granulated sugar 200g

- 3 Tbsp of lemon juice 45ml
- 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract 3ml
- 1/2 cup of buttermilk 118ml
- 2 Tbsp of lemon zest or zest from 1 1/2 lemons (9g)
- 1 1/2 cups of cake flour or all-purpose/plain flour 180g
- 1 1/2 tsp of baking powder 6g
- 1/2 tsp of salt 2g
Lemon Glaze
- 1 cup of powdered sugar 130g
- 1 Tbsp of milk 15ml
- 1 Tbsp of lemon juice or more to make the glaze thinner. (15ml)
