Since the creation of the Liotes project, we have added many ingredients that made the project what it is today. One of the changes that has brought the most to the project is the introduction of diesel pools. We first had created the LEN:LENM pool and later the Swap.Hive:LEN pool.
Earning with LEN:LENM
The first pool LEN:LENM has a reward pool linked to it. People who provide liquidity to this pool earn daily rewards in respect to the amount of liquidity they provide. They also earn fees from each transaction in the pool which grow their position.
Arbitrage opportunities thanks to two pools
When we introduced the Swap.Hive:LEN pool, the idea was to have more liquidity for the token to always have the ability to swap it. We actually needed that in order to be able to buy LEN tokens to pay dividends to the delegators of liotes.voter. The diesel pool is a much better solution for that than the market. People can always chose where they want to buy or sell the token, where they get the best price.
Having two different pools and two markets for our tokens also brought the possibility for arbitrage. There are now bots that are active on our markets and use these arbitrage options. The big advantage of that is that the market prices are correcting themselves automatically and it also allows us to sell more LENM tokens.
4500 dollars worth of tokens as liquidity
Today, there is quite a consistent amount of tokens as liquidity in these pools. In total, around 4500 dollars worth of tokens are in the two Liotes liquidity pools. The value is distributed almost evenly between the two pools.
More pools?
The advantage that these pools bring to the Liotes ecosystem made us think about the possibility to add one more pool. Nothing is sure yet and we are still discussing it with @ph1102. First we have to decide if we want to create an additional pool (which generates costs) and then we would have to define what we want to pair in it. Feel free to share your suggestions ;-)
The numbers of this week
There was a relatively small growth of the liotes.fund this week but otherwise the numbers are pretty much as usual. We still have a burn break going on. Instead of burning the LEN tokens every week, we accumulate LEN to add them to the reward pool LEN:LENM once the present pool runs out.
