4500$ in Liotes Liquidity pools

4500$ in Liotes Liquidity pools.jpg

Since the creation of the Liotes project, we have added many ingredients that made the project what it is today. One of the changes that has brought the most to the project is the introduction of diesel pools. We first had created the LEN:LENM pool and later the Swap.Hive:LEN pool.

Earning with LEN:LENM

The first pool LEN:LENM has a reward pool linked to it. People who provide liquidity to this pool earn daily rewards in respect to the amount of liquidity they provide. They also earn fees from each transaction in the pool which grow their position.

Arbitrage opportunities thanks to two pools

When we introduced the Swap.Hive:LEN pool, the idea was to have more liquidity for the token to always have the ability to swap it. We actually needed that in order to be able to buy LEN tokens to pay dividends to the delegators of liotes.voter. The diesel pool is a much better solution for that than the market. People can always chose where they want to buy or sell the token, where they get the best price.

Having two different pools and two markets for our tokens also brought the possibility for arbitrage. There are now bots that are active on our markets and use these arbitrage options. The big advantage of that is that the market prices are correcting themselves automatically and it also allows us to sell more LENM tokens.

4500 dollars worth of tokens as liquidity

Today, there is quite a consistent amount of tokens as liquidity in these pools. In total, around 4500 dollars worth of tokens are in the two Liotes liquidity pools. The value is distributed almost evenly between the two pools.

More pools?

The advantage that these pools bring to the Liotes ecosystem made us think about the possibility to add one more pool. Nothing is sure yet and we are still discussing it with @ph1102. First we have to decide if we want to create an additional pool (which generates costs) and then we would have to define what we want to pair in it. Feel free to share your suggestions ;-)

The numbers of this week

There was a relatively small growth of the liotes.fund this week but otherwise the numbers are pretty much as usual. We still have a burn break going on. Instead of burning the LEN tokens every week, we accumulate LEN to add them to the reward pool LEN:LENM once the present pool runs out.

At the moment there are 168 LEN tokens in the prize pot for the Liotes Power Challenge.

Swap.HBD or Swap.BTC would be good stable options. Another option is to talk to the management of CENT, which has many pools and you could perhaps share expenses. CENT would connect you with POB, LEO, BEE and others that I don't remember now.

These are very interesting suggestions. Thanks a lot !

I'm very pleased with the LEN:LENM pool, it's one of my favorites. Especially since it rewards CTPSB which is a great preservation (and increase) of wealth!

I'm happy to see that you enjoy this pool :-)

I think it is time to add more of my LEN:LENM position. : )

It's definitely quite a safe bet. Both tokens are very stable and therefore there is almost no risk related to it.

This is a very strong liquidity available in the pools. Keep up the good work guys!

Thanks!

Congratulations on the milestone. Since the pools are out there, I am sure the bots will take advantage of any price difference to make money. It works out better in the long run to keep prices stable.

The bots make money but they actually also deliver stability for the ecosystem so it's a win-win in my opinion.

Very good numbers but humans will not be beating those bots in terms of sniping speed. :)

The bots are there to take the opportunity for arbitrage and it's not a bad thing because they rebalance the markets and generate transactions and sales that profit mainly to the people providing liqudity and to the project in general.

Hmm so far I think SWAP.HIVE:LEN pool works great. I would compare the prices first before trading on the exchange each time. Don't think another liquidity pool is needed for now in my view. Maybe with SWAP.HBD? Haha.

It's a very good idea to compare prices. It can make quite a difference.

I think the natural choice would be a swap.hbd pool. Both HIVE and HBD have the best liquidity over here and they'll just complement each other well (for obvious reasons).

Thanks a lot for your suggestion!

thanks for the update.
I don't have any specific token in mind for the pairing. Again it depends on the token usage. I thought of leo, but that may not be a perfect match.

That's a nice chunk of liquidity in the pools. You made me curious about the possibility of adding another pool.

Thanks for the news. Yes I am using both pools actively :)
