🧂 1 teaspoon garlic powder
🧂 1 teaspoon onion powder
🌶️ 1 teaspoon paprika
🧂 1 teaspoon sea salt
🌶️ 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
🌿 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
For the Sauce:
🧈 2 tablespoons butter
🧅 1 medium onion, chopped
🧄 2 cloves garlic, minced
🌿 2 stalks celery, chopped
🌾 1/4 cup flour
🐓 2 cups low sodium chicken broth
🥛 1 cup heavy cream
🥕 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
🧂 1 teaspoon onion powder
🧂 1 teaspoon garlic powder
🧂 1 teaspoon sea salt
🌶️ 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Topping:
🥐 1 can of grands biscuits
🧈 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions
1- Prepare the Chicken:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Season the chicken thighs with garlic paste, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, sea salt, black pepper, and parsley.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the chicken thighs on both sides until golden. Remove from skillet and set aside.
2- Make the Sauce:
- In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add onion, garlic, and celery. Sauté until onion is translucent.
- Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Slowly whisk in the chicken broth, ensuring no lumps form.
- Add heavy cream, frozen peas and carrots, onion powder, garlic powder, sea salt, and black pepper. Stir well.
3- Combine and Bake:
- Return the chicken thighs to the skillet with the sauce. Ensure they are well-covered.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
- Place the grands biscuits over the top of the chicken and sauce.
- Brush the tops of the biscuits with melted butter.
