From what I have read they asked for a loan and in order to approve it the IMF demanded that they change the policy on Bitcoin.
A free economy is not in the interest of bankers because they would go bankrupt and their financial control over people and countries would end.

        Yes that’s what is going on in Europe as well. We can’t have crypto but we need to give the government access to it. And we can pay taxes on the ‘expected’ profits.
