XRP just surpassed $150 billion in market cap and at the moment of writing this post probably the most hated cryptocurrency in the crypto space is valued at $2.7. Not too long ago XRP was just 50 cents and it is now five times that valuation. I had a long open on XRP at $0.5 but closed it soon after opening it, thus I did not make much money with it.
However, I can say that I am excited to see XRP pumping because I know that if those dino coins are doing well, our shitcoins will do good as well. Capital will flow from the big boys' barns to small farmers once we resume up only. BTC.D looks to have topped out and it is now at about 58%.
Once we get to something like 40% I would be worried about holding alts, but for now I can't think of anything better to hold other than altcoins. Bitcoin will do good as well, but even if it goes to $250,000 in 2025 that's just 150% from its current level. However, altcoins are going to print insane valuations.
I find it amusing seeing crypto people getting emotional about the current rally XRP is undergoing, and I sensed pretty much the same thing when DOGE started rallying a few weeks ago. These types of people still believe in a fundamentals-based bull market. That no longer applies to the stock market either.
When Pfizer rallied hard in 2020 it was because of the man-made pandemic and the mandates and not because of the pharmaceutical making any breakthrough progress in curing any disease. As stated in a previous post the pharmaceutical industry's purpose is not to cure the people but to keep them ill, but alive, and make as much money as possible in that process.
So, personally, although not being an XRP bag holder I am happy to see it rallying because I want all of us here to make money. I am sure there are plenty of investors trapped since 2018 in holding XRP and the ones smart enough will even be able to make a decent profit.
I would not buy it at this level though because the potential ROI for it is significantly lower than the one SUI, TIA, SEI and others will have. As stated in some of my posts during summer my take is that the best investments right now are low caps and not these giants like XRP.
However, don't hate on this XRP rally cuz there will be plenty of capital flowing out of it once it cools off. The everything season is upon us and this is all that matters. Now's XRP's time but tomorrow others will replicate such rallies as the current one on XRP. Don't play too much with leverage and enjoy the best part of the bull market!
Thanks for your attention,
Adrian
