Well, my day was simple in structure: going to board review and back home.
Last night, I was simply unable to fall asleep for a while, despite actually going to bed earlier. It was broken and brief. I ended up sleeping probably just a little bit over 2 1/2 hours, and it took me nearly twice as long as usual to get myself ready. I was physically weak and barely walking, even briefly a bit nauseous, dragging myself outside. I ended up coming to the review about 1.5 hours late, which I was very unhappy about, as that was a lot of missed content.
That was probably the worst of it. After that, I became a bit more energetic. I stayed awake longer during the course of the day compared to prior days, despite my terrible start. I was, of course, falling asleep at random times during the day, but overall it seemed like less than before.
The second half of the day, particularly after 3 p.m., I was more attentive to the material I was reviewing. In particular, over the course of the last 1.5 hours and after that, including up until now, I felt even more energetic. I wish I had during the time of the day when it mattered most: during my review! Especially since I intend to try to fall asleep again within the next 30-45 minutes.
I have a feeling I'm going to have a lot of trouble falling asleep yet again. This is ridiculous. I'm glad there's only one more day of this... and then I switch back to nights again... for one week lol!
Let's hope that tomorrow will end up going better than today. I've been saying this for a week and a half without substantial improvements but a guy has a right to hope... right?
