Hello, my lovely friends and followers. It’s another day when I share a particular song from my playlist with those who care to stop by. I have shared some really popular songs until now as none of them was by a Nigerian artist so today I decided to share something from my Nigeria playlist. I’m very sure by now you must have rushed to play the video to know what kind of song it is, hehe. OPINIONS BY MARIZU is a pop/gospel song released some months back. I actually first listened to this song on a friend’s WhatsApp status and I fell in love with the lyrics and everything it has to offer. And besides all of that, I love that it was coming from a new artist, someone I have not really paid attention to his music before.
Opinions is a song that speaks so much volume though it’s just a 2:15 minutes song but it has a lot of words to ponder on. These days we see so many people feeling so confused about some things because they listen so much to opinions from others and forget to draw their stability from the word of God. And that was exactly what MARIZU was letting us know that he won’t care about other’s opinions because God’s words is the only foundation he will stand on. I remember when I listen to this song too at first and after dwelling so much on the lyrics, I even added that my own opinions too don’t matter if God’s words says otherwise.
Most times we forget about this truth, especially as those who believe in Jesus Christ and we try to find a way to make sure our own opinions count but sorry to bring it to you, as long as God’s words says a different thing, your opinions or other’s opinions does not stand a chance. I know it’s hard to ignore our own opinions and perspectives on something or even other’s opinions but as long as it is not in line with God’s truth, then we should always remember to discard them. There are so many ways we let our own opinions and people’s opinions override God's word and the earlier we figure those ways out and make adjustments, the better for us.
It might not be your kind of song but I hope you at least get the message of the song and also enjoy the melody for what it’s worth. So let me know in the comments if this is your first time listening to this song. If no, let me know your first reaction when you heard this song.
Thank you so much for stopping by and I wish you a lovely weekend ahead. ❤️
