Hello Hive Music Lovers!,
Welcome to another #threetunetuesday created originally by @ablaze.
We are in the middle of christmas and whilst many are listening to the many christmas songs, I have been checking out some cool guitar rifts and thought I would share 3 of my favorites.
You really can't beat some good guitar work and it was tough to select just 3 from the many good ones, but I gave it a try.
The first tune is probably the most well known, not only for the guitar rift, but I remember the piano exit from the film Goodfellas. Probably one of the best gangster movies made and starring the super cool Ray Liota. The Piano Exit is a great finish to the song, but the guitar work by Eric Clapton to start is pretty awesome.
It is so unique and I remember it so well from my youth that any top 3 guitar solos need to include it.
Eric Clapton - Layla
An easy choice for the great guitar work is from the legendary Jimi Hendrix. One of my favorite tunes and with some great guitar work to boot. All Along The Watchtower is some pure class and the song just doesn't get old.
When he is playing, he makes it look so easy, but I am sure it isn't. Pure music to my ears.
Jimi Hendrix - All Along The Watchtower
The final tune we slow it down for an amazing guitar solo and so mesmerising. Perfect to listen at this time of year when you are slowing down and reflecting on your year gone by and thinking about what you want to do for the next.
For me it is one of the most emotional ones and reminds me of people I care about and good times together.
Santana - Samba Pa Ti
That wraps up my #ttt for this week. I hope you are having great festive period and you are listening to some great tunes! What guitar rifts do like the most? Let me know in the comments!
For those unfamiliar with TTT or Three Tune Tuesday.... to quote @ablaze :
The jist is as follows
Every Tuesday I'm going to share 3 songs which I like to listen to and I invite your feedback in the comments below. Better still, why not have a blast of your own Three Tune Tuesday and mention me in the post and I'll come and find the post and upvote it. If you could also use #threetunetuesday tag that would be great, as that is what I use when sifting through all the entries every Wednesday. It'll be a sweet way for us all to discover new music. You'll also be in with a chance of winning the prize.
