Estas travesías son ideales hacerlo con pocas personas. Por el simple hecho de que la idea es mantener un ritmo constante por mucho tiempo. En este caso, el joven Braian, es que marcaba el ritmo, ya estaba volviendo de unas vacaciones y por supuesto estaba menos entrenado. Por suerte en la primera etapa se contuvo de hacer travesuras y pudo mantenerse en el pelotón por mucho tiempo. Sus travesuras casi siempre es elevar la velocidad innecesariamente, ya que el trabajo previsto era en zona dos, muchos kilómetros.

Pasar por la fortuna ya es una costumbre y es un punto de inflexión para saber como venimos. Normalmente, ahí paramos un rato para comer algo, hidratarnos y seguir camino. Como saben soy una persona de resistencia, constancia y largos entrenamientos. Es por eso que disfruto correr una maratón, más que una correr a de 10 km. Y en la bicicleta me pasa lo mismo. Me encanto poner cuarta, posicionarme en la bicicleta y darle por largos trayectos.

As you know I am a person of endurance, perseverance and long workouts. That's why I enjoy running a marathon more than a 10 km run. And it's the same with cycling. I love to put myself in fourth gear, position myself on the bike and ride for long distances.
Arrancamos con una mañana soñada. Un clima tropical, una leve brisa y ver el amanecer en la ruta, uno de los magníficos regalos del universo. Solo eso, paga esta travesía. A media mañana la temperatura comenzó a subir y el sudor, mezclado con la tierra, producía una suciedad evidente en nosotros. Es parte del folklore y lo importante es disfrutar el camino.

Para cumplir con Zuni paramos para ver si los choclos estaban como para cosecharlo, pero todavía les faltan un par de meses, según el amigo Alejandro. Detrás de estas plantaciones existe un molino que, en otras ocasiones, nos sirvió de puesto de hidratación. Estos molinos se utilizan para hidratar a los animales, pero el agua es totalmente potable… creo. Hemos tomado en varias oportunidades y nunca nos ocasionó algún tipo de problemas.
! [English]To meet Zuni we stopped to see if the corn was ready to be harvested, but it is still a couple of months away, according to our friend Alejandro. Behind these plantations there is a mill that, on other occasions, has served as a hydration post. These mills are used to hydrate the animals, but the water is totally drinkable... I believe. Realizamos un trabajo realmente importante y más aún para Alejandro que sigue en su proceso de bajar de peso. Él está muy entusiasmado y los resultados son muy evidente.
