Hello, beautiful people in Hive Community 👐 I am here again. Hopefully, you can spend a little time on my blog ☺️.
This weekend I was planning to have a general cleaning in the house. And of course, my husband is my partner. But early in the morning, I received a chat message from a very good friend of mine and an active Barangay Councilor of Canao-canao, Tabogon, Cebu.
She invited our DTUDs team or simply Daantabogon Unified Drummers. My husband is the founder. She wants our team to lead the parade for their Fiesta sa Kabataan Sports League.
We have fifteen members who participated in the parade. I can't say no to my friend so I let them go.
This is one of the hobbies of my husband. He enjoys it when he beats the drum and as his wife, I just support him and dance to the music.
There were lots of participants in their sports league. The players show their skills and their muses show their talents and beauty.
In 2017 when I was assigned to Loreto Remedios Montebon National High School for only one year, they hired my DTUDs team to lead their Barangay Activities.
I am happy that my friend is still supporting my team until now and in the future.
Though this business never earned much the payment received was only for the drummers alone. But I am still supporting the team. I am willing to spend money on the repair of the drums and other instruments.
This is one of my advocacy to support the youth. I want the young ones to serve our community and have a productive hobby.
As I observed them they are happy and fulfilled after their service in the church or in the barangay.
If we had an activity in school sometimes I would use my instruments for free. This is also an advantage in our school.
