RE: Cottage cheese stuffed meatloaf

in Foodies Bee Hive5 days ago

Needless to say, cream cheese is an ideal addition to minced meat patties. The only question I have is what is considered a spice on the other side of the Atlantic? Among other things, I miss the finely diced onions sautéed in butter, the garlic, and the thyme. Where are the mustard and paprika powder? Eggs would also have gone well with the minced meat. And anyway, everything is a bit stranger in Europe.😊

For spices I used garlic, onion, pepper, salt and a mix of "italian seasoning".

Oh man onions cooked in butter is so good. I sometimes use mustard and paprika, but just not in this recipe.

Eggs does sounds good.. maybe I will try adding that next time along with some more spices.

Only those who dare to experiment in the kitchen can break new ground and discover wonderful flavours. Success in the end is almost guaranteed!
