Our family is sustained by quality protein sources - we're always looking for affordable protein, without having to supplement with powders and bars.
Besides meats and dairy, we rely very much on eggs as an affordable source of protein, but things have changed. What used to be less than a dollar, 12 eggs have become more costly than a pound of beef.
The biggest problem isn't just the price, but the limit. Our family can easily go through 6 dozen eggs in a single week. Now we can only purchase a limit of two per shopping tripping.
10 Years Ago: A Different Economic World
I went through my photos and found this one from December 2015. Same store, same cooler, just 10 years ago.
$0.98 gallon of milk and $0.45 dozen eggs (no limit).
10x egg price in 10 year. Let's make EGGS affordable again!

Our children read the Tuttle Twin books, specifically to learn libertarian principles, which most people learn later in life. These books are useful for our family, and yours, to teach children concepts that seem complicated, but are made simple in these books.
