Summer is about as great a season to enjoy a beer and #beersaturday is probably the best day of the week. For week 420, I wish I had some dank @davedickeyyall content but will stay in my lane and stick to the summer beers.
The Shorty of the Week has made it back this summer as there are some good ones being offered in the shorter cans and road trips take me away from the taps at home. This one is one of my core favourites because it has been around since the start of my IPA obsession, features my preferred Galaxy, Mosaic and Citra hops, and it is brewed in my home town right across the street from our office. One more shout-out for Black Swan Brewing and their perennially great core IPA! Especially satisfying while lounging on the deck in the early evening.
Wonder Box!
I was cruising to the big city to go jam with the band for a show we have coming up this summer and that is thirsty work. So, I stopped along the way to see what was new at the beer store. To my pleasant surprise, Flying Monkeys Brewing had a mixed pack of one-off beers ready to discover!
Looks like this Wonder Box features some unique fruity IPAs which are right up my alley. I love sweet and bold and hazy and strong and my friend @incublus loves the crazy drawings on the labels so this should be a hit!
Gusher
I started off as they are listed on the side with a Gusher Tropical Punch IPA which is exclusive to the Wonderbox and maybe the tap room at the brewery. As wildly branded as their other beers, I would have grabbed this one individually off the shelf because that bear seems to be enjoying chugging that rainbow.
We were forgoing the formal use of a glass so I couldn't give you my patented view on how it poured and looked out of the can. Hopefully a badly focused label in front of the guitar will suffice. Definitely a sweet and fruity treat that screams to be outside. Also good for screaming inside!

It was great that there were 2 of each beer in the Wonder Box so that I could sample each and share with the guys. The next 2 pints are in this pic and I will spill them on you next #beersaturday
