Poseidon is a high-end seafood buffet chain located in large shopping malls, attracting customers because of its high-end fresh seafood.😊 I returned to Poseidon for the second time because I was craving seafood and this time the experience was still great.😗
As soon as I entered the buffet area, I was overwhelmed by the huge restaurant with a line of many dishes. Especially the fresh seafood stall - where diners can see the seafood swimming in the tank with their own eyes. This makes me feel more secure about the freshness of the ingredients. 🐙🦑🦀🦞🦐🐠The open kitchen area is also a big plus when customers like me can watch the chef prepare the dishes on the spot, creating hot, steaming and fragrant seafood dishes.
I skipped the chicken, duck, pork and beef dishes because my main goal was seafood. 🐷🐮🐰🐶🦅I started my party with steamed crabs, grilled shrimp with cheese, grilled oysters with scallion oil and grilled blood cockles. Crabs and crabs are quite large, the meat is firm, sweet and full. Grilled shrimp with cheese is one of my favorite dishes. Steamed oysters with pineapple is a very special dish that I have never tried before. The sweetness of pineapple permeates each oyster, creating a refreshing flavor, very easy to eat. Steamed blood cockles with lemongrass retain their freshness and natural sweetness, dipped with green chili salt sauce, nothing can compare. Steamed abalone with ginger is also a choice worth trying, the abalone meat is crispy and chewy, combined with the aroma of ginger to create a wonderful umami flavor.
In addition to steamed and grilled dishes, I also tried some fried dishes such as crispy fried grass carp, butter fried squid and salt fried crab. The fried grass carp has a crispy crust, the meat inside is soft, not dry at all. The butter fried squid is fatty, the aroma is attractive right from the buffet tray. The salt fried crab has a moderate salty taste, the crust is crispy but the meat inside is still soft and sweet.
Not only seafood, the salad area is also very diverse with dishes such as Russian salad, mustard salad, white radish salad and many other types of salads that I can't remember all the names. 🥗🥙I especially like mustard salad because the spicy taste stimulates the taste buds, it goes very well with seafood. In addition, there are soups such as sweet corn soup, sweet grapefruit soup and black bean soup, all of which have a refreshing taste, helping to balance the meal.🍮🥤🧋
For dessert, I can't resist the appeal of sweet desserts such as black bean sweet soup with coconut milk, grapefruit sweet soup and sweet rice balls. 🥣🧊The black bean dessert has a light sweetness, the coconut milk is rich, and a little bit of chewy jelly makes it even more appealing. I also tried the soft flan, white tofu with black tapioca pearls and colorful jelly. The desserts here are really delicious, making me unable to stop even though I was quite full.🍰🙆🏻♀️
A notable point is that the restaurant has more than 20 different types of dipping sauces, allowing diners to freely choose according to their taste. My favorite is the spicy green pepper chili sauce, which is delicious when dipped with seafood. In addition, the pho rolls here are also quite delicious, I often dip them in sweet and sour fish sauce, buffet ticket price at Poseidon is about 600,000 VND/person, around 25 USD/person, including VAT but not including drinks. However, with the quality of the food and the variety of the menu, I find this price completely worth it. If you eat a lot of seafood, I recommend you order a glass of Coke to help with digestion. Don't be like me because I ate too many sweet desserts and felt uncomfortable in my stomach.🤰
