Today, I am going to share some food shots of barbecue which we did yesterday. Because the weather was warmer and sunny we took advantage of it. I remember last year the barbecue was not up to the mark. I think the reason was the bad choice of coal. The size of that coal was so small that it burned quickly and the chicken which we normally prefer for barbecues was not cooked properly. This time we purchased a slightly big and expensive coal bag for that purpose and the result was good. We enjoyed it a lot. The people who are living in the UK understand the happiness of sunny weather because this year the weather was not quite sunny this time and we are hoping for warmer days in the upcoming weeks Insha Allah. As we know outdoor enjoyment is not possible in a rainy atmosphere. One meme came to my mind that there are four seasons on earth but in the UK it is categorized as rainy winter, warmer winter, cold rainy winter and cold. So, the rain and the winter are the common factors in the weather of the UK.
Anyway, have a look at these marinated chicken which I put in the skewers and the mesh grill because there were not enough skewers for meat.

The cooked picture of the chicken you can see below. One of the sticks was more cooked from one side because the heat was more in the centre.

I remember in my parent's home we loved to barbecue to spend some quality time together because it made the cooking fun and gathering amazing. A family who cooked together, and ate together actually made the bond stronger.
