Being a foodie I always like to experiment new places and try out different types of food. This is something from last month back in Muscat. A newly opened Indian restaurant called Tanatan. Indian food is not new, but when you dine along with the food it's the other experience also that matters, and for this particular place there were lot of good reviews about it's ambiance. Of course the food review is also good. After that one bad experience I have made it a point to check up food review before visiting the place.
The ambiance truly is very unique of this restaurant. They have an indoor and outdoor seating. I prefer outdoor dining if the weather is good. November to mid April, climate is very good so I prefer outdoor seating whenever I go out dining. The decor of this place is very unique, nothing like I have ever seen before. Some of the western world celebrities of past and present have been given an Indian look. The food pricing is on the higher side but it's worth it. The quantity and the quality of the food both are excellent.
The outdoor dining is by the pool side. Here they also serve the Hookah, which is not served indoors. Here in Middle East Hookah is a common thing, and many people want it with dining.
This is the indoor dining, very finely done.
The bells from the ceiling gives the Indian character to the place. They are quite high so one cannot ring it easily. One will have to climb on the chair to ring it, else every second person would keep ringing the bell and it would be so disturbing.

What do you all think of this place, from the pictures I have shared, do you find it unique, will you like to dine here? The cuisine is normal Indian cuisine, taste is good and the way it's served makes it all the more palatable. In all it's a very good experience dining here.
