Is a mandarin a kind of fruit? Yeah, but not in my case;)) my "mandarin" is more like a salad;)
I found this recipe before the New year, and I liked it because mandarins here are a symbol of the New Year. People buy lots of them, and some creative cookers even make dishes that look like mandarins.
As a rule, I don't spend much time on such art cooking, but this time I decided to try.
We need:
- carrot
- cheese (ordinary or tofu)
- mushrooms
- We need to bake carrot and grind it.
- Mushrooms need to be cut and fried for 5-10 min
- Cheese should be grinded or cut as well.
And then the process of art cooking begins;)
We take food film to use it as an assistant in our mandarin creation.
We put some carrot as a first layer.
On the top we put some cheese and mushrooms.
And the last step is to create a ball of them.
Actually it's done rather easy and fast, I was afraid it would be harder;))
So we make a form of a mandarin and can add some green leaves for decoration.
My family was in love with this dish!
So original and really tasty!
