Greetings, my dear food-loving friends. Happy day to all, I hope you are doing well, with good health and well-being. I wish you all happy holidays and a happy New Year 2026 full of health and abundant blessings.
For the second year in a row, I decided to make Christmas cake at home to make this dessert a new tradition. I must say that it was a very special experience, because last year I was very nervous when I made it. It was my first time, and I had a thousand questions running through my head, even though I had the recipe clearly written down. I learned a lot during the process, and that experience stayed with me. I'll leave the recipe and preparation instructions in this post.

Por segundo año consecutivo me animé a preparar la torta navideña en casa para hacer de este postre una nueva tradición. Debo decir que fue una experiencia muy especial, pues el año pasado la hice con muchos nervios, era la primera vez y tenía mil dudas rondando mi cabeza, aunque tenía la receta bien explicada a mano. Aprendí mucho durante el proceso y esa experiencia quedó guardada. Les dejo la receta y la preparación en esta publicación.

Yesterday, I made it again and felt calm, confident, and certain that what you learn well is never forgotten. I took each step calmly, enjoying the moment and putting love into every detail. I felt confident, happy, and proud to try again.
Throughout the year, my family asked me to make this cake, but I decided to wait until the end of the year. I wanted it to be not just a dessert, but part of our New Year's Eve tradition. In the end, seeing it ready was a great satisfaction. 🎄🍰
Ayer, la preparé de nuevo y me sentí tranquila, confiada y con la certeza de que lo bien aprendido nunca se olvida. Cada paso lo hice con calma, disfrutando el momento y poniendo cariño en cada detalle. Me sentí segura, feliz y orgullosa de volver a intentarlo.
Durante todo el año mi familia me reclamó esta torta, pero decidí esperar hasta fin de año. Quería que no fuera solo un postre, sino parte de nuestra tradición de último día del año. Al final, verla lista fue una gran satisfacción. 🎄🍰
