Yesterday was my first time going to a Christmas lunch at a workplace. I had never been working for anyone during these days and never got the chance. As my first jobs were freelance, nothing like this actually happened before I. My life.
It was a cool experience. We had great food, great company and a lot of fun. I was skeptic at the start but ended up liking the whole activity.
During the length of it, we exchanged gifts as part of the Christmas traditions. We also had the chance to play a game and then be back to our places after 4 hours of gathering.
Since I was not having dinner afterwards, I just laid in bed when I was back home. Around 7 pm. my stomach began to growl and I had to go out and get something to eat.
I wanted to celebrate the end of my classes for the year and the return to teaching. So I went to the usual spot nearby and got myself a 10$ burger. It was good. However, I would not spend that much in that kind of burger again.
Thus ended a day with lots of foods and highs and lows.
