There are things that can make the whole experience of eating pizza a drag. Over 2 months ago, @octocel and I were going out from early on the day. When noon arrived, we decided to get some pizza, but I had to wait for her to end a meeting.
I was deciding where to go. I settled up for a place nearby. It used to be a Pizza But long time ago. Now it is called Pizza de Verdad or something similar. They offer combos that are on the affordable side. Most of them are two pizzas and a soda. That's more than enough for 2 or 3 people.
When I ordered, I never knew the wait time would be so long. It also seemed weird that the place has a board-game borrowing system. Approach the counter and you can get cards, and other games. This feature sounds cool, but it means that the time to get your order is usually always delayed.
@octocel came back from her meeting and we had to wait around another hour to have our food. The pizza was good. That I cannot deny. However, the waiting time was far to much to consider even giving a tip to the waitress. I wonder why it takes so long to make these pizzas. Maybe the ovens are slow or something else. As far as I know, they kitchen looked active.
Maybe they are focused on their delivery routes and then attend their physical location. That would be a bad practice since there are people going to the place. I doubt we'll ever get back there. Waiting 2 hours for pizza is just to much for my hungry self.
