Hello there, Blockchain Foodies!

I've come with a review of a kitchen appliance that could interest you. However, it is not by the reasons you might think.

Are you a fan of popcorn even when you're not watching movies? Truth is this is a very nice snack. It has low calories and it is actually really nice to munch of a bunch of popcorn as the time goes by and you do your things. But making them in a pan with oil is usually a mess. Your hands get greasy and then you have more calories in your snack.

Well, there are popcorn makers that work with hot air. This are a nice nice invention that helps you get a nice amount of popcorn without using oil. Yes, it needs electricity, but it takes so little to make that it is just a thing of plugging the appliance for a bit a let the corn pop into a bowl.

But be careful. This is the first experience we had in the house with this thing. Mom bought one in Traki for around 12 - 15$. I thought this was too cheap for an appliance like this. I have see them around 32 - 45$ in other places. The popcorn make looked too thin for its purpose. Let me explain. A device that works with a resistance like an electric stove needs some room to dissipate heat. Otherwise, it will fry its circuits and won't work anymore.

That is exactly what happened with this. Even when the appliance was tested after its purchase, it didn't actually work at home. It would throw some air and then get too hot to keep working. Mom went back and they changed it for another that had the same problem. At the end, she changed it back for other stuff of the same value and was done with the popcorn maker for a time. That was until, she bought a different one. A sturdier and better one that is. But that is a story for another day!

This is just to tell you that if you come across this particular brands, stay clear of it. It doesn't work well.

omg just use a pot.

Missing the point

me?

I thought the point was popcorn.

Interesting.... never had one of those, I made them... the popcorn homemade hahaha looks great!
