Les cuento que hoy al ser Domingo decidimos que lo mejor sería almorzar afuera de casa, por lo que después de antojarnos un poco de comida caribeña, decidimos ir a "Chula's" un restaurante parrillada que me recomendó Fer.
El lugar estaba algo vacío ya que la hora del almuerzo había pasado, sin embargo, la atención fue bastante amable y claro, muy rápida. La verdad yo no tenía tanta hambre así que decidí pedir una entrada que constaba de unos palitos de pescado empanizados acompañados de patacones y salsa de la casa, a demás, acompañe de una soda michelada de frutos rojos. Por otra parte, Fer decidió pedir una bandeja de camarones empanizados que venían acompañados de tajaditas, salsa de la casa y ensalada.
Mi platillo estaba súper rico, pensé que al ser una entrada no traería tantos palitos de pescado, pero creo que al Fer comentarle a la mesera que lo tomaría como un plato fuerte me pusieron unos de más, lo cual agradezco muchísimo, también debo decir que la michelada me la recomendó la chica y tuvo toda la razón al decir que era la más rica, tenía pedacitos de fresas, cerezas y uvas, simplemente delicioso.
La opción de Fer no la pude probar por el tema de la alergia, pero me comentó que estaba muy rica y por lo que pude ver traía muchísimas piezas de camarón. Al final, pagamos un total de $95.000 pesos colombianos ($23.38 dólares) incluyendo propina. La verdad, nos encantó la atención tan linda y amable, el sabor de los platillos y por supuesto, el ambiente del lugar. The place was a bit empty since lunchtime had passed, however, the service was quite friendly and of course, very fast. The truth is that I was not that hungry so I decided to order an appetizer consisting of breaded fish sticks accompanied by patacones (fried plantains) and house sauce, also accompanied by a red fruit michelada soda. On the other hand, Fer decided to order a tray of breaded shrimp accompanied by slices, house sauce and salad.
My dish was super tasty, I thought that since it was an appetizer it wouldn't have so many fish sticks, but I think that when I told the waitress that I would take it as a main course they gave me a few extra, which I am very grateful for, I must also say that the girl recommended the michelada and she was absolutely right when she said it was the tastiest, it had bits of strawberries, cherries and grapes, simply delicious.
I could not try Fer's option because of my allergies, but she told me that it was very tasty and as far as I could see she had lots of shrimp. In the end, we paid a total of $95,000 Colombian pesos ($23.38 dollars) including tip. We really loved the nice and friendly service, the taste of the dishes and, of course, the ambiance of the place.
