I tell you that the weekend for me was quite long, until yesterday I was at home resting because as I told you in a previous post, it was a holiday in Colombia, for that reason we took the opportunity and together with my father-in-law and other family members decided to visit a restaurant that is quite old in the city, however, recently improved its facilities and today is quite nice and comfortable ro visit.
Something that used to be very well known and was considered the best dish on their menu was the Qbano sandwich but when we received some comments that they had lowered the quality we decided to see it and try it for ourselves. So at nightfall we arrived at the place which today is quite illuminated with warm lights, they expanded the terrace so now there is more space for tables and as if that were not enough they also placed tables in the area inside the premises, changed the tiles for nicer and more striking ones and of course, they decorated the restaurant with a large sign in neon letters which had the name of the place.
In the end, we decided on a mixed Qbano sandwich, which had meat, chicken, cheese, sauces, lettuce, among other ingredients, and also a chicken desgranado, which had pieces of chicken, white corn bun, sauces, lettuce, papita chongo and Costeño cheese. The truth is that we expected a little more from their dishes, I think they used to have a different and much richer seasoning, in short, the rumors are true and they have lowered their quality a little. I remember I used to frequent this fast food place with my parents and before the quality, taste and presentation was much better.
Although the ambiance of the place has been improved and is now much nicer and more attractive, they should also pay attention to maintaining the good quality of their dishes. Hola amigos, feliz día! Espero que se encuentren muy bien y que hayan tenido un lindo día. Les cuento que el fin de semana para mi fue bastante largo, hasta ayer estaba en casa descansando debido a que como les comentaba en un post anterior, era festivo en Colombia, por tal razón aprovechamos y junto a mi suegro y otros familiares decidimos visitar un restaurante que es bastante antiguo en la ciudad, sin embargo, recién mejoraron sus instalaciones y hoy en día es bastante lindo y cómodo.
Algo que solía ser muy conocido y se consideraba el mejor platillo de su menú era el sándwich Qbano pero al recibir algunos comentarios de que habían bajado de calidad decidimos verlo y probarlo nosotros mismos. Por lo que al llegar la noche llegamos al lugar el cual hoy en día está bastante iluminado con luces cálidas, ampliaron la terraza por lo que ahora hay más espacio para mesas y por si fuera poco también colocaron mesas en la zona dentro del local, cambiaron las baldosas por unas más lindas y llamativas y por supuesto, adornaron el restaurante con un gran letrero en letras neones el cual tenía el nombre del lugar.
Al final, nos decidimos por un sándwich Qbano mixto, el cual tenía carne, pollo, queso, salsas, lechuga, entre otros ingredientes y también, por un desgranado de pollo el cual traía trozos de pollo, bollo blanco, salsas, lechuga, papita chongo y queso costeño. La verdad es que esperábamos un poco más de sus platillos, pienso que antes tenían un sazón diferente y mucho más rico, en pocas palabras, los rumores son ciertos y han bajado un poco de calidad. Recuerdo que solía frecuentar este lugar de comidas rápidas con mis papás y antes la calidad, sabor y presentación era mucho mejor.
Aunque el ambiente del lugar lo mejoraron y ahora es mucho mas lindo y llamativo, deberían prestar atención también a mantener la buena calidad de sus platillos.
