Here in the Philippines, the bustling streets offer different kinds of food you can eat along the way. You need to stop and buy them, or eat there. Some of them set up chairs and tables beside the streets for their customers on the go. And I experienced it just recently, eating just beside the streets, hearing the bustling town, and cars passing by.
My partner and I went to the town proper for our motorbike repair. The repair shop was located just beside the street, and there was a small business that sold on-the-go Lugaw or Porridge.
I walked towards them and looked at what they had to offer. I saw the "Lugaw Overload" signage and told the owner to order one. They are also selling some "Lumpiang Shanghai". I also bought some as my side dish. I asked them for drinks, and they just told me they would serve me some water. When I said everything I wanted to order, I sat down at the table beside the street.
After waiting for a few minutes, the owner finally served the food on my table. I could see my partner just across the repair shop, but he does not want to eat. When my orders are in front of me, I have already started eating. The Lugaw comes with a boiled egg, and the Shanghai with vinegar. I added some chili oil to the porridge, and I am delighted with its taste.

While eating, I could hear the busy streets and could also see the cars passing by. But they did not distract me from eating at all. In fact, it made the experience even more interesting. I enjoyed the food, and it's a great option for on-the-go meals for everyone.
