Cuando llega la época decembrina la casa simplemente huele a navidad, es lo que percibo en mi olfato, hay ese olor a guiso, ese olor a especias y frutas que sin duda cambian el aroma.
Todo proviene de la cocina, cuando se comienza a preparar y hornear cada comida, presente en nuestra mesa para navidad, es tradición cocinar para noche buena, navidad, fin de año y año nuevo. 💫
Nos encanta degustar todo lo clásico de la época navideña, tanto lo dulce como lo salado, preferimos un plato completo y sin remordimiento, esa es nuestra cultura y la verdad la tentación culposa gana en esta temporada. 😁
Hay muchas preparaciones que se cocinan en casa, acá les dejo un pequeña presentación de nuestras preparaciones de noche buena y navidad, dónde la mesa se llena de comensales ansiosos por probar. 😅
La reina de la mesa sin duda es la hallaca en casa nos gusta suculenta, con mucho relleno y grandes, una exquisita presentación, con un guiso resuelto de pollo y puerco y un montón de verduras que sin duda le dan el sabor.
El pan de jamón es otro infaltable de nuestra mesa, este año mejor que el anterior, gracias al talento de mi hijo @edcraft quien horneo un delicioso y suave pan, al que igual no le negó nada de jamón y este año si hubieron pasas y alcaparras.
El pollo horneado con condimentos, especias y jugo de naranjas que le dan no solo sabor, sino que el marinado impregna la carne y le da un dulce toque delicado a esta preparación, originalmente era pavo, pero la situación cambió y ahora son pollo/pavo, 😅 así le dice mi pequeña Aura que ya lleva 5 años con esta navidad esperando por esta grandiosa ave que aún no llega.
La ensalada de gallina y pasta está es una deliciosa y un acompañante delicioso lleno de color y texturas, es una preparación completa y muy nutritiva, ya que adicionalmente agregamos una pasta corta pequeña para darle otro nivel a lo tradicional.
La torta negra sin duda la favorita de los postres, llena de frutos secos, abrillantados, pasas con un toque de ron que aumenta sin duda ese sabor, ella es húmeda y con textura, cada bocado es una explosión de sabor que evoca la navidad en nuestra boca.
Sin duda el olor no solo se impregna en toda la casa, también se pasea por la calle del vecindario, 😁 la gente cuando llega a casa, no pueden dejar de decir que rico huele a navidad.
Todos en casa cocinamos, nos gusta intentar y preparar nuestra propia comida, que nos garantiza higiene, calidad y sobre todo sabrosura, porque no es por presumir pero mi cena de esta época no la cambio por ninguna. 🥂
Degustar cada comida es una bendición que se vive en nuestra mesa, ver las caras de gusto es mucho mejor al igual que tenerlos a todos reunidos en casa para navidad y año nuevo, eso es tradición, eso es navidad un tiempo para compartir en la mesa con tus seres amados. 💫
En casa huele a navidad en la cocina!!, esa mezcla que sin duda me transporta a todas mis navidades vividas, esas que me recuerdan que la época de fin de año es compartir momentos de sabor y alegría.

It smells like Christmas in my kitchen!
When the Christmas season arrives the house simply smells like Christmas, that is what I perceive in my sense of smell, there is that smell of stew, that smell of spices and fruits that undoubtedly change the aroma.
It all comes from the kitchen, when you start preparing and baking each meal, present on our table for Christmas, it's tradition to cook for Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year's Eve and New Year's Eve. 💫
We love to taste all the classics of the Christmas season, both sweet and savoury, we prefer a complete dish and without remorse, that is our culture and the truth is the guilty temptation wins in this season. 😁
There are many preparations that are cooked at home, here I leave you a small presentation of our Christmas Eve and Christmas preparations, where the table is full of diners eager to try. 😅
The queen of the table is undoubtedly the hallaca at home we like it succulent, with a lot of filling and big, an exquisite presentation, with a stew of chicken and pork and a lot of vegetables that give it the flavour.
The pan de jamón (ham bread) is another must at our table, this year better than last, thanks to the talent of my son @edcraft who baked a delicious and soft bread, which he didn't deny any ham and this year there were sultanas and capers.
The baked chicken with seasonings, spices and orange juice that not only gives it flavour, but the marinade permeates the meat and gives a sweet delicate touch to this preparation, originally it was turkey, but the meat is still a little bit sweet.
The black cake is undoubtedly the favourite of the desserts, full of dried fruits, glazed, sultanas with a touch of rum that undoubtedly enhances that flavour, she is moist and textured every bite, it is an explosion of flavour that evokes Christmas in our mouth.
No doubt the smell not only permeates throughout the house, it also wafts down the neighbourhood street, 😁 people when they get home, can't help but say how yummy smells like Christmas.
All of us at home cook, we like to try and prepare our own food, which guarantees us hygiene, quality and above all tastiness, because not to brag but my dinner this time of year I wouldn't trade it for any. 🥂
Tasting each meal is a blessing that is lived at our table, seeing the faces of taste is much better as well as having them all gathered at home for Christmas and New Year, that is tradition, that is Christmas a time to share at the table with your loved ones. 💫
At home it smells like Christmas in the kitchen, that mixture that undoubtedly transports me to all the Christmases I have lived, those that remind me that the end of the year is a time to share moments of flavour and joy.
