I love to eat delicious and try new things, this time I received a special invitation for my birthday 🎂 and of course I accepted.
The best thing about the invitation is that I had the option to go anywhere for lunch and I decided to eat Arabic food, and despite I had in mind to go to the most popular Arabic food place in town they surprised me by taking me to what they told me "the best Arabic food place in town".
The place was totally unknown to me and I was amazed by the attention and the delicious food. I must admit that I had barely eaten falafel and shawarma before that day, so we decided to order a mixed plate to eat a little bit of everything.
I had tabaquitos, stuffed eggplant, tabbouleh, falafel, kibbeh, chickpea, paprika and eggplant creams. Accompanied with lemon juice prepared with an Arabian spice that I don't remember. But everything together was great 🤤 a funny anecdote is that while eating I did not remember the name of each one, only the falafel because I had eaten before and the eggplant because ajam is part of my daily meals 🤣🤣.
What I can say is that they are flavors from another place, I say this because I have been to thermal places and I have been disappointed a couple of times. But here it was different, my companions told me that the restaurant has more than 40 years in the city and particularly has little publicity and is hidden near the center of the city. It caught my attention that the place is run by the daughter of the Arab founders.
Overall it is a very simple place, but with flavors that tell stories.

Amo comer delicioso y probar cosas nuevas, en esta ocasión recibí una invitación especial por motivo de mi cumpleaños 🎂 y por supuesto acepté.
Lo mejor de la invitación es que tenía opción de ir a cualquier lugar a almorzar y decidí comer comida árabe, y pese que tenía en mente ir al lugar más popular de la ciudad de comida árabe me sorprendieron llevándome a lo que me dijeron "el mejor lugar de comida árabe en la ciudad".
El lugar era totalmente desconocido para mí y quedé sorprendida por la atención y la deliciosa comida. Debo admitir que escasamente había comido falafel y shawarma antes de ese día, así que decidimos pedir un plato mixto para comer de todo un poco.
Comí tabaquitos, berenjena rellena, tabule, falafel, kibbeh, cremas de garbanzos, pimentón y berenjena. Acompañado con jugo de limón preparado con una especie árabe que no recuerdo. Pero que todo en conjunto estaba buenísimo 🤤 una anécdota graciosa es que mientras comía no recordaba el nombre de cada uno, solo del falafel porque había comida antes y de la berenjena porque ajam es parte de mis comidas diarias 🤣🤣
Lo que si puedo decir es que son sabores de otro lugar, lo digo porque he ido a lugares térmicos y he quedado decepcionada un par de veces. Pero aquí fue distinto, me comentaban mis compañeros que el restaurant tiene más de 40 años en la ciudad y particularmente tiene poca publicidad y está escondido cerca del centro de la ciudad. Me llamó la atención que el sitio es atendido por la hija de los fundadores árabes.
En general es un lugar muy sencillo, pero con sabores que cuentan historias.
Este obsequio de cumpleaños lo deleité bocado a bocado.
