En los últimos 2 días mi esposo y yo caímos en las garras de un virus gripal bien agua fiestas, así que hemos estado lidiando con fiebre, tos, dolor de garganta, en fin... Malestar general 🥵. Pero bueno, gracias a Dios hoy nos sentimos de mejor ánimo para salir, y nos unimos a la familia para conocer un restaurante muy famoso en la ciudad llamado: El solar del este, donde tienen un menú bastante extenso, pero nuestro malestar nos obligó a optar por su caldo de res. El resto del grupo prefirió probar el pollo a la brasa con hallaquitas, ensalada y arepitas, pero la verdad me dio pena fotografiarlo, porque no quería hacerlos sentir incómodos 😅.
De lo que si les puedo hablar es de ese increíble caldo de res, OMG, estuvo buenísimo 🤩. Puedo decir con propiedad que es uno de los más potentes que he probado, además del hecho de que tenía demasiada carne, y no estoy exagerando. Puede contar 3 o 4 pedazos de verduras y todo el resto era caldo y carne, por lo que pienso que valió totalmente la pena los $8 que costó cada plato. Los comentarios del pollo asado también fueron positivos, así que ya saben que si en algún momento están cerca, pueden comer gustosamente en este lugar; solo tomen en cuenta que es un poco costoso. Díganme, ¿Alguna vez han visitado este restaurante?

In the last 2 days my husband and I fell into the clutches of a well water holiday flu virus, so we've been dealing with fever, cough, sore throat, in short.... General malaise 🥵. But well, thank God today we felt in a better mood to go out, and we joined the family to visit a very famous restaurant in town called: El solar del este, where they have a pretty extensive menu, but our malaise forced us to opt for their beef broth. The rest of the group preferred to try the grilled chicken with hallaquitas, salad and arepitas, but the truth is that I was too embarrassed to photograph it, because I didn't want to make them feel uncomfortable 😅.
What I can tell you about is that incredible beef broth, OMG, it was really good 🤩. I can properly say that it is one of the most potent I've ever tasted, besides the fact that it had way too much meat, and I'm not exaggerating. You can count 3 or 4 pieces of veggies and all the rest was broth and meat, so I think it was totally worth the $8 it cost per plate. The comments on the roast chicken were also positive, so you know that if you are ever nearby, you can happily eat at this place; just keep in mind that it is a bit pricey.
