Have you ever made a snack so delicious that it disappears from the table in just minutes? The kind that makes your kids ask for more, your husband smile after the first bite, and your guests secretly wonder where you bought it? Well, today I’m sharing one of my most requested and best-loved homemade snacks — Crispy Tuna Bread Rolls.

This snack is crispy on the outside, creamy and flavorful on the inside, and packed with cheesy tuna goodness that everyone will absolutely love. It’s affordable, easy to prepare, and perfect for family bonding, merienda time, birthday parties, or even as a small negosyo idea. Once you make this, I promise — it will become a regular favorite in your kitchen.

What makes this recipe extra special is the twist. Instead of using ordinary breadcrumbs, we use crushed SkyFlakes crackers for that extra crispy, flavorful coating. Yes, you read that right! It’s crunchier, tastier, and definitely more exciting.
Now, let’s get started!
Ingredients
2 cans Century Tuna (155g each)
10 tbsp mayonnaise (plain or flavored)
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp pepper
4 pcs eggs
4 packs SkyFlakes crackers
18 pcs loaf bread
2 pcs onion (chopped)
1 pack cheese
All ingredients are simple and easy to find, which makes this recipe budget-friendly and perfect for everyday cooking.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Tuna Filling
Open the 2 cans of Century Tuna and remove the excess oil. This is very important so the filling will not be too oily.
In a bowl, combine the drained tuna, 2 chopped onions, 10 tablespoons of mayonnaise, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 2 teaspoons pepper. Mix everything well until fully combined. The mixture should look creamy and well blended.
The aroma at this stage is already so tempting!

Step 2: Prepare the Eggs
Crack the 4 eggs into a bowl and beat them well. Add a pinch of salt for extra flavor. Set aside.

Step 3: Prepare the SkyFlakes Coating
Open the 4 packs of SkyFlakes crackers and crush them finely. You can crush them using your hands or place them inside a plastic bag and crush with a rolling pin.

This will serve as our coating — and trust me, this is the secret to that extra crispy texture! It replaces breadcrumbs, and honestly, it tastes even better.
Step 4: Prepare the Bread
Take the 18 pieces of loaf bread and remove the four sides (the crust).
Using a clean mug or rolling pin, flatten each slice of bread. Flattening makes it easier to roll and seal later.

Step 5: Fill, Roll, and Seal
Now for the fun part!
Place a spoonful of the tuna mixture in the center of the flattened bread.
Add a slice of cheese on top of the tuna mixture.

Carefully roll the bread and close it tightly.
Use a fork to press and seal the sides very well.
Make sure to seal properly so the filling will not come out while frying.

Step 6: Coat the Rolls
Dip each rolled bread into the beaten egg, making sure it’s fully coated.
Then roll it in the crushed SkyFlakes crackers. Press lightly so the crackers stick well to the bread.
At this stage, you’ll already see how crispy and beautiful it will look once fried.

Step 7: Fry to Golden Perfection
Heat a pan and add just a little oil. Do not put too much oil so the bread will not absorb excess oil.
Fry each roll and make sure to flip it to cook both sides evenly.

Cook until golden brown and crispy.
The sound of frying and the golden color forming — that’s when you know something delicious is about to happen!
The Finished Product
And there you have it — your Crispy Tuna Bread Rolls are ready to serve!
The outside is perfectly crunchy, while the inside is creamy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. It’s best served warm while the cheese is still slightly melted.
