Chicken feet used to weird me out as a kid. I was talking to myself, "Who in their right mind would eat that part of the chicken? It will taste like sand?" Mind you, that is me as a kid who only eats fried chicken, haha.

I have always experienced new food since we moved out of my mother's side. One of them is adobong Chicken feet, but we called it here "Adobong Addidas" because it looks like the logo of Adidas LOL.

You need to peel off the outer skin before cooking it, so technically it is clean after peeling it, and make sure to remove the nails because we don't want nails in our food.

So yeah, it is a while since we ate one, so I enjoyed eating it, and did you know that chicken feet are rich in collagen? Yes, collagen is what makes your skin look young. Yes, you should try eating things.

Ingredients I Used:

0.JPG

  • 2 tbsp. Cooking Oil
  • 4 Cloves Garlic
  • 1 Red Onion
  • 1 Thumb Ginger
  • Half Kilo Chicken Feet
  • 1 Dash Ground Pepper
  • 3 tbsp. Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp. White Vinegar
  • 1 tsp. All-In-One Sesoning
  • 1.2 litre of Hot Water

Let's Cook!

In a hot pot, I added two tablespoons of cooking oil.

Then I added the aromatics like garlic, red onion, and ginger. Sauté them for about a minute until the fragrance comes out.

Then I added the chicken feet, and then I like to cook it for about a minute, because whenever I cook it first in a cooking oil, it has a unique taste to it.

Then I added a dash of ground pepper.

Next, I added the soy sauce. I put in about three tablespoons of it.

Then I added a tablespoon of white vinegar, the purpose of adding it is that it helps tenderize the chicken feet fast.

Then, after that, I added a teaspoon of all-in-one seasoning.

Mix everything and let all the seasoning seep into the chicken feet for about a minute.

To make life easier, I am going to add about 1 1/2 litres of hot water.

21.JPG

Let it cook for about 20-30 minutes or until tender with the lid on.

And this is what it looks like.

Very tender, delicious, and perfect to pair with rice.

In Italy people don't eat chicken feet it's considered disgusting but honestly I've seen many recipes with chicken feets I'll be curious to try it!! 💕 I'm not the kind of person who don't try a food.

Oiii, favorite ng mama to, mapa adobo or fried with breading. Tapos ako, diko talaga nakahiligan ang paa ng manok. Pero nakakatalam yong super lambot na nag trend b4. Natry mo naba mag adobo na super lambot ng pagkakaluto even the bone? Anyway this looks so masarap.
