Esta semana leí por aquí de una linda hiver que es importante auto darnos pequeños regalos en la semana y dije "¿por qué no? Empezaré a hacer eso", así que vengo a contarles que me compré.
Para muchos esto no cuenta como regalo, pero para otros como yo, que amamos el chocolate, pero podemos comer un trozo de chocolate cada mucho tiempo, ¡créanme! Es uno de los mejores regalos que me puedes dar.
Les cuento algo, una de las pocas cosas que ha hecho este gobierno, y que de verdad acepto que es algo positivo, es que, en vista a que tienen buenas relaciones comerciales con países árabes, como Turquía, han traído muchos productos de ese país que son de muy buena calidad.
Por supuesto, eso viene como consecuencia de un montón de políticas negativas que, de hecho, por un tiempo no permitieron que entrara ningún producto importado al país, así que en realidad la llegada de estos fue para aliviar un poco la crisis de desabastecimiento que teníamos, por lo que en realidad todas estas importaciones tienen un trasfondo bastante turbio.
El punto es que esto no es algo nuevo, es algo que ya viene pasando desde hace bastantes años y a los venezolanos, no nos quedó de otra que acostumbrarnos a lo que sucedía y a sencillamente comprar estos productos para aliviar las necesidades, sobre todo las básicas.
Con el tiempo estas necesidades se suplieron bastante bien, empezaron a aparecer bastantes productos de origen nacional, pero como hubo un tiempo considerable para que esto sucediera, nos acostumbramos a consumir los productos de origen árabes, principalmente turcos.
De esos productos, de los que más han entrado al país, y que son una de las pocas cosas que le agradezco al gobierno, son estos que les traigo en las fotos, los chocolates Nestlé de una variedad considerable.
Hay muchísimas marcas de chocolate específicamente de origen turco, pero de las que no son turcas, sino que son franquicias internacionales, como los de la marca Nestlé, teníamos poca variedad aquí en el mercado venezolano y llegaron nuevamente por esas importaciones provenientes de Turquía, al menos aquí en mi isla.
Esto me ha permitido probar muchos chocolates a lo largo de los años, no tanto como quisiera, porque ya ven que si abuso mi migraña se activa, pero si he podido probar una variedad amplia y hoy les traigo los que más me gustan, que, por cierto, algunas son versiones que solo se consiguen allá en Turquía.
El que tiene el empaque verde y dice "Chocolate Distikli" es uno de esos que son versiones específicamente creadas allá porque viene con pistachos de origen turco, (ya ven que usan mucho el pistacho para sus comidas, en especial los postres) este en especial es un chocolate con leche, es espectacular, poco amargo y con trocitos de pistacho que le dan un sabor salado extra, me encanta, pero lo como poco porque tiene leche y soy intolerante.
El que tiene en la fotografía del café y dice "Caramel Macchiato", es una cosa de ¡otro nivel! Tiene un sabor un poco amargo como el café y lo mezclan con dulce de leche, una sola vez lo probé y ¡créanme! Para los amantes del café y el chocolate ¡Esto es una completa locura! Se consigue en otros países, por si les interesa adquirirlo.
El del empaque blanco con verde que dice "Damak" también es una versión que solo tienen en Turquía, justamente por lo mismo que dije arriba, en Turquía usan mucho los pistachos, así que es un ingrediente característico de ellos, este me gusta porque es un chocolate más amargo, el sabor es mucho más fuerte que el que les comente arriba.
Y finalmente el que compré esta semana, el cual no había probado, les cuento que es una edición especial que no vi en un principio, aparentemente, e investigando en internet (después que lo compré) es una edición que sacaron porque la primera empresa de Nestlé en Turquía se creó en 1927, así que es una versión de aniversario.
En un inicio el chocolate se sentía bastante liviano al paladar e inmediatamente supe que tenía leche, luego buscando en internet en efecto la etiqueta dice "con extra de leche", (pero en turco por lo que no lo entendí), me gustó que el empaque es toda una experiencia porque en el interior el papel de envoltorio cuenta la historia, además tiene una textura diferente al resto, parece apergaminado, pusieron dibujos muy bonitos del proceso de creación del chocolate. Se tomaron el marketing en serio con este chocolate y me encantó todo por eso.
No me arrepiento de que haya tenido leche, porque era el último que me faltaba por probar y, además, por fin conseguí las cápsulas de lactosa que son difíciles de conseguir por aquí, por lo que, al final, no me cayó del todo mal e, incluso, no me generó migraña, así que todo terminó siendo un excelente autorregalo para mi semana.
Y si preguntan, ¡sí! Me lo comí todo porque acepto que tengo cero fuerza de voluntad ante un chocolate, jamás he podido guardar pedazos pera después, tal vez lo guarde unas horas, pero al final del día me lo terminaré comiendo, no mentiré.
En conclusión, si ven en los supermercados de sus ciudades estos chocolates, les recomiendo que los prueben, en verdad es un chocolate de calidad y las mezclas que hacen ¡están geniales!

This week I read around here from a cute hiver that it is important to give ourselves small gifts during the week and I said "why not? I'll start doing that", so I'm here to tell you what I bought myself.
For many this doesn't count as a gift, but for others like me who love chocolate, but can eat a piece of chocolate every so often, believe me! It is one of the best gifts you can give me.
I tell you something, one of the few things that this government has done, and I really accept that it is something positive, is that, in view of the fact that they have good commercial relations with Arab countries, like Turkey, they have brought many products from that country that are of very good quality.
Of course, that comes as a consequence of a lot of negative policies that, in fact, for a while they did not allow any imported products to enter the country, so actually the arrival of these was to alleviate a little bit the shortage crisis we had, so actually all these imports have a rather murky background.
The point is that this is not something new, it is something that has been happening for many years and Venezuelans had no choice but to get used to what was happening and simply buy these products to alleviate the needs, especially the basic ones.
With time, these needs were supplied quite well, many products of national origin began to appear, but as there was a considerable time for this to happen, we got used to consume products of Arab origin, mainly Turkish.
Of those products, the ones that have entered the country the most, and which are one of the few things I am grateful to the government for, are the Nestlé chocolates of a considerable variety.
There are many brands of chocolate specifically of Turkish origin, but of those that are not Turkish, but are international franchises, such as the Nestlé brand, we had little variety here in the Venezuelan market and they arrived again because of these imports from Turkey, at least here on my island.
This has allowed me to try many chocolates over the years, not as much as I would like, because you can see that if I abuse my migraine activates, but I have been able to try a wide variety and today I bring you the ones I like the most, which, by the way, some are versions that are only available there in Turkey.
The one with the green packaging and says "Distikli Chocolate" is one of those that are versions specifically created there because it comes with pistachios of Turkish origin, (you can see that they use pistachios a lot for their food, especially desserts) this one in particular is a milk chocolate, it is spectacular, not very bitter and with little pieces of pistachio that give it an extra salty flavor, I love it, but I eat it very little because it has milk and I am intolerant.
The one in the picture of the coffee and says "Caramel Macchiato", is something from another level! It has a bit bitter taste like coffee and they mix it with dulce de leche, I tasted it only once and believe me! For coffee and chocolate lovers, this is completely crazy! It is available in other countries, in case you are interested in acquiring it.
The one with the white and green packaging that says "Damak" is also a version that they only have in Turkey, just for the same reason I said above, in Turkey they use pistachios a lot, so it is a characteristic ingredient of them, I like this one because it is a more bitter chocolate, the flavor is much stronger than the one I mentioned above.
And finally the one I bought this week, which I had not tried, I tell you that it is a special edition that I did not see at first, apparently, and researching on the internet (after I bought it) is an edition that they brought out because the first Nestle company in Turkey was created in 1927, so it is an anniversary version.
At first the chocolate felt quite light to the palate and I immediately knew it had milk, then looking on the internet indeed the label says "with extra milk", (but in Turkish so I didn't understand it), I liked that the packaging is quite an experience because inside the wrapping paper tells the story, it also has a different texture than the rest, it looks like parchment, they put very nice drawings of the process of creating the chocolate. They took marketing seriously with this chocolate and I loved everything about it because of that.
I don't regret that I had milk, because it was the last one I had left to try and, besides, I finally got the lactose capsules that are hard to get here, so, in the end, it didn't go down too bad and even didn't give me a migraine, so it all ended up being an excellent self-gift for my week.
And if you ask me, yes, I ate it all because I accept that I have zero willpower in front of a chocolate, I have never been able to save pieces for later, maybe I keep it for a few hours, but at the end of the day I will end up eating it, I won't lie.
In conclusion, if you see these chocolates in the supermarkets of your cities, I recommend you to try them, it really is a quality chocolate and the mixtures they make are great!
