This week we also enjoyed eating smoked pork chops, which would be my favorite protein. I love the flavor when prepared with sweetness, in this case, honey, and this recipe of my mom's is fantastic, accompanied by rice, plantain and a very creamy potato, carrot and egg salad.

This post also takes the opportunity to mention a sweet treat, because my partner and I visited the "Bariloche" ice cream shop and ordered a divine three-scoop ice cream. This shop had closed a few years ago, but it recently reopened, offering wonderful flavors; my favorite was the brownie.
También aprovecho de, comentarles que, el pasado martes tuve una cita conmigo misma luego de salir de una consulta medica y probé las cocadas en una venta de hortalizas muy cercana a mí hogar, lo cual me gustó muchísimo, si debo agregar que, con un toquecito extra de dulce sería espectacular, pero, estaba muy rica y refrescante y de igual forma, me gusta apoyar a emprendimientos locales.
I also want to mention that last Tuesday I had a date with myself after leaving a doctor's appointment and I tried the coconut candies at a vegetable stand very close to my home, which I liked very much. I must add that with a little extra sweetness they would be spectacular, but they were very tasty and refreshing and I also like to support local businesses.
