Hace poco descubrí un lugar en Cumaná- Venezuela 🇻🇪 maravilloso donde puedes disfrutar de exquisitas arepas de cochino, chicharrón y más, se trata de 'Cochinitos' un rinconcito lleno de sabor que tuve el placer de visitar y hoy te comparto mi experiencia! 🐷✨

I recently discovered a place in Cumaná- Venezuela 🇻🇪 wonderful where you can enjoy exquisite arepas with pork, chicharrón and more, it is 'Cochinitos' a little corner full of flavor that I had the pleasure to visit and today I share with you my experience! 🐷✨
'Cochinitos' está ubicado en la calle Sarmiento, muy cerca de la plaza Bermúdez del centro de la ciudad de Cumaná, este es un emprendimiento familiar, aunque es un local pequeño es bastante lindo, cuenta con varias mesas y sillas muy pintorescas, paredes dibujadas, mucha madera, es muy acogedor y cómodo. 🤩
'Cochinitos' is located on Sarmiento street, very close to Bermudez square in the center of the city of Cumana, this is a family business, although it is a small place it is quite nice, it has several tables and chairs very picturesque, drawn walls, lots of wood, it is very cozy and comfortable. 🤩
I went to 'Cochinitos' with my mom, husband and daughter, upon arrival we sat at a table and immediately a girl gave us the menu and explained the portion sizes, which I appreciate because otherwise we would have ordered more than the bill, we decided on a large arepa with all the contours ie chicken, chorizo, pork and yellow cheese, we also ordered 4 arepas viudas (arepas without filling), 1/4 chicharron with meat and soda. 🐷
La espera fue bastante corta, en menos de 10 minutos todo estaba servido en la mesa, lo primero que llegó fue la arepa grande, no podía creer el tamaño y la cantidad de proteínas que tenía, ciertamente la arepa era pequeña pero la cantidad de relleno que tenía llenaba una bandeja completa, es decir que la chica tuvo razón al decirnos que 1 era suficiente para todos. El sabor de todo era divino, cada bocado fue un placer al paladar, todos pero absolutamente todos estábamos extasiados comiendo nuestra arepa, fue una gran elección!
En cuanto al chicharrón con carne venía acompañado de trozos de limón, el mismo estaba un tanto frío lo cual no me gustó mucho, sin embargo lo probe y el sabor era exquisito pero creo que la experiencia habria sido más placentera si hubiera estado caliente.
The wait was quite short, in less than 10 minutes everything was served on the table, the first thing that arrived was the big arepa, I could not believe the size and the amount of protein it had, certainly the arepa was small but the amount of filling it had filled a whole tray, that is to say that the girl was right when she told us that 1 was enough for everyone. The taste of everything was divine, every bite was a pleasure to the palate, everyone but absolutely everyone was ecstatic eating our arepa, it was a great choice!
As for the chicharron with meat it came with lemon wedges, it was a bit cold which I didn't like, however I tried it and the taste was exquisite but I think the experience would have been more pleasant if it had been hot.

Overall 'Cochinitos' is an excellent place to enjoy good food, in a friendly and familiar atmosphere, so I recommend it 100% if you are in Cumaná to enjoy all its flavor!
