[ESP] | [ENG] - MOMENTO FOODIE #55: Mucha CANELA nunca es suficiente

Un día más visitando Carbone Coffee Shop...bueno, realmente fueron dos visitas por separado para probar cosas distintas en el menú. Las opciones de postre siempre serán bienvenidas para ser escogidas porque es que, ¿qué es un cafecito sin su respectivo postre de compañía? Ya había probado la torta de banana, así que venía siendo momento de atrevernos a probar otra opción y la elegida en esta ocasión fue la coffee cake, sí, aquella que se caracteriza por su cobertura streusel acanelada. Me gustó en gran medida porque el sabor a canela era sumamente predominante y la miga del bizcocho era muy esponjocita. Esta elección de torta resaltaba tanto que el café que pedí perdió por completo el protagonismo, ¿puedes creerlo? Incluso Made que no es tan fanática de los postres quedó absolutamente maravillada. Por cierto, ese mismo día, los chicos en el local nos dieron a probar el nuevo café de la marca que incluye cardamomo, me gustó el sabor pero creo que voy a necesitar más de un shot para poder degustarlo a profundidad 🤣. Eso sí, el diseño del empaque me gustó mucho así que no pude evitar realizar un respectivo registro fotográfico.

Ahora bien, en otro día común y corriente que extrañamente no me apetecía tomar café, me terminé inclinando a probar el chocolate caliente, especito. En mi primera instancia, déjame decirte que el tamaño de la taza me impresionó. Yo realmente necesitaba una bebida de apoyo emocional para poder lidiar con mi resfriado de gripe y esta taza fue la dosis perfecta. Sin mencionar que el chocolate tenía mucha canela, cosa que me encanta, sin embargo para mí gusto en particular el chocolate tiene que tener un sabor más potente, amargo, que te despierte y no un sabor tanto a leche. Aún así, le puedo dar fácilmente un 8/10 y va siendo una calificación bastante buena.

Por supuesto que seguiremos visitando mi café de confianza para continuar probando otras cositas del menú. Tengo en la vista el café amargado una opción bastante especial que contiene crema de pistacho, pistacho triturado, chocolate 70%, Espresso y leche vaporizada...toda una bombita de sabor y calorías para mantenerte despierto un rato largo. También he querido probar las opciones saladas, pero mejor vamos poco a poco ¿te parece?

Another day visiting Carbone Coffee Shop... well, actually, it was two separate visits to try different things on the menu. Dessert options are always welcome because, let's face it, what is coffee without dessert? I had already tried the banana cake, so it was time to venture out and try something else. This time, I chose the coffee cake, yes, the one with the cinnamon streusel topping. I liked it a lot because the cinnamon flavor was very predominant and the cake was very fluffy. This cake choice stood out so much that the coffee I ordered completely lost its prominence, can you believe it? Even Made, who is not such a fan of desserts, was absolutely delighted. By the way, that same day, the guys at the shop gave us a sample of the brand's new coffee, which includes cardamom. I liked the flavor, but I think I'll need more than one shot to really appreciate it 🤣. I really liked the packaging design, so I couldn't help but take a photo.

Now, on another ordinary day when I strangely didn't feel like having coffee, I ended up deciding to try the hot chocolate, spicy. At first glance, let me tell you, I was impressed by the size of the cup. I really needed an emotionally supportive drink to help me deal with my flu, and this cup was the perfect dose. Not to mention that the chocolate had a lot of cinnamon, which I love, but for my particular taste, chocolate has to have a more powerful, bitter flavor that wakes you up and not taste so much like milk. Still, I can easily give it an 8/10, which is a pretty good rating.

Of course, we will continue to visit my trusted café to try other items on the menu. I have my eye on the “café amargado,” a rather special option that contains pistachio cream, crushed pistachios, 70% chocolate, espresso, and steamed milk... a real flavor and calorie bomb to keep you awake for a long time. I've also wanted to try the savory options, but let's take it one step at a time, shall we?
