Hello everyone, today I went into the kitchen again because I wanted to eat some spicy Thai food, so I thought of the Steamed Fish with Lime or Lemon menu. This menu is my favorite menu that I always order when I am in Thailand because it is a spicy and sour menu that is satisfying. If I go to a seafood restaurant, I will always order it. And if I go to a Thai restaurant here, I will order it, but lately I don't order it much because the food here is not very spicy. Because the people here make some of the ingredients, they are not the same as when I was in Thailand. So we made it ourselves and this is the second time that I made this menu. Let's see how to make this menu with ingredients and steps.

Ingredients (for steaming fish)
- Two fish, each about 300-400 grams
- One lime or lemon
- Two pieces of galangal
- 10 kaffir lime leaves
- Lemongrass or lemongrass powder
- Seasoning powder
- Ginger 50 grams
- Various vegetables
Ingredients (dipping sauce or soup)
- 5 chilies
- Garlic 5
- 50 grams of sweet red chilies
- 1 tablespoon of fish sauce
- 2 tablespoons of lime or lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon of seasoning powder
- Celery leaves

How to make
- Blend the chilies, garlic, and celery leaves until smooth. Then season with lime juice, fish sauce, and seasoning powder. Set aside for serving.
- Clean and cut the belly of the fish clean, then make incisions and sprinkle a bit of seasoning powder to enhance the flavor of the fish. Then stuff galangal, lemongrass, and lime leaves into the fish belly to remove the fishy smell and give the fish a fragrant herbal aroma.
- Prepare the vegetables and steam them under the fish, then place the fish on top. Steam the vegetables you like with ginger for fragrance, then steam until the fish is cooked.
- Once the fish is cooked, place the lime on the fish and steam for about 5 minutes. Then serve the fish on a plate.
- Decorate the plate neatly, place the fresh vegetables on top, then the steamed vegetables, then place the steamed fish on top, followed by a lime wedge on the side for fragrance, sprinkle with a little more ginger.
- The soup from steaming the fish will be mixed with the vegetables. Use it to make a soup poured over the fish by mixing it with the dipping sauce that was made to add a strong flavor and pour it over the fish that was scooped earlier. The remaining dipping sauce can be scooped separately according to your preferences, and added gradually.
And this is the one-lime fish that I made. Whoever likes the taste, try it. I guarantee that those who like spicy seafood will like it. You can eat it with rice or by itself, it's up to you. And I hope everyone likes my cooking posts. Thank you for following. Have a nice day
