Hello, dear hivers!! Welcome back to MIYA’s blog!! 💕 I will be sharing a very short blog !! Today didn’t feel like a real class day since tomorrow is our 4th periodical exam. Instead of lessons, our teachers just gave us the whole day to study for their subjects. But honestly, all of us were thinking, “Why do we even have to go to school if we’re just going to study? It’s much better to stay home.” And we’re not wrong, staying at home would have made it easier to focus, and we wouldn’t have to wake up early just to sit in an empty classroom doing nothing.
In the morning, some of my classmates didn’t come to school because they wanted to study at home. Then, by the afternoon, more and more of them started going home since the teachers weren’t coming in anyway. By lunchtime, half of the class was gone! I honestly wanted to go home too because it was getting so boring. But at the same time, I knew my mom wouldn’t allow me to skip school, and I also didn’t want to ruin my attendance record. So, I just stayed and waited for the day to end.

During lunch, my friends and I went to Worthy Spot in Poblacion, San Remigio, Cebu because I was treating them some food. Guess why???? Because of our Tiktok streak !! Yes, you read that right. We made a deal that whoever the one who ends their streak or forgets to send a video for the streak has to treat the others. And of course, I was the one who messed up. I forgot to send videos because I was too busy making my resume and doing research for Pagbasa at Pagsusulat 😭. But honestly, I didn’t mind at all because it meant we got to spend more time together. Seeing their big smiles made me so happy, so it was totally worth it.
While waiting for our food, we started taking pictures, laughing, and talking about random things especially about our crushes HAHAHA. It was so funny how we ended up teasing each other and. We were laughing so much that people around us probably thought we were crazy. But moments like these are the best.
The food was so good, and we had the best time just eating and talking. It made me realize again how lucky I am to have them as my friends. I really hope we get to bond like this again soon because moments like these are something I will always cherish.
Now, reality hits because exams are tomorrow (which is today). Good luck to all of us students as we take our last periodical exam for this school year! Lord, please guide us, help us focus, and give us wisdom and clarity as we take our tests. Hoping for good results and no mental block, HAHAHA. Fighting!!
