Flower Pancakes

Hi bloggers and food lovers, good afternoon from here. I hope you’ve had a great day. Today I’m going to share a recipe that’s always popping up on my social media, it’s very simple and doesn’t take long to make. Today I’m making flower pancakes with fruit in the center; this time I chose strawberry slices for the filling. Okay, let’s get right to it

Ingredients:

  • 10 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 200 ml milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • cooking oil
  • strawberries
  • powdered sugar

Instructions:

  • Remove the stems from the strawberries and wash them

  • Set aside

  • Put the all-purpose flour into a bowl

  • Add a pinch of salt and the sugar and add the baking powder

  • Slowly pour in the milk

  • Stir until the ingredients are well combined

  • Crack the egg and add it to the bowl

  • Add the vanilla extract, then mix the batter until thoroughly combined

  • Add 2 tbsp of cooking oil to the batter

  • Before pouring it into the bottle, I strain the pancake batter to ensure there are no lumps

  • Slice the strawberries thinly

  • Heat a pan

  • Place the strawberry slices on top

  • Pour the pancake batter around the strawberries to form flower petals

  • Cook until done, then flip the pancake so both sides are cooked

  • Repeat until all the batter is used up

  • When finished, serve on a plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar

  • The flower pancakes are ready to eat
