Spicy Potato Bean Curry

Hello all Bloggers

Hi guys...! How are you all, I hope you all are well.
Today my in this blog I will share with you guys a new recipe.
Last time I shared my sister's wedding menu, I am happy you all liked my post and gave me great feedback. 😍
Today I am going to share with you guys the recipe of Potato and Bean Curry.

Let's see how I made it.

Ingredients

  • Beans ( 500 grams )
  • Potatoes ( 300 grams )
  • Oil ( 1 cup )
  • Onion ( 50 grams )
  • Garlic ( 1 bulb )
  • Salt, turmeric & red chilli powder
  • Water ( 2 cup )
  • Hot Spice

Process

Since I have Sundays off from college, I usually make some new recipe on Sundays and share it with you guys.
So, let me quickly tell you how to make this recipe step by step.

So, first I put the chopped or garnished garlic and onion in a pan and then added a cup of oil to it and put it on low to medium flame to fry.

I had shelled the beans and after washing and peeling the potatos well, I had cut them into cubes, meaning I had already cut the vegetables.

You can see that the garlic and onion are roasted, meaning that after the garlic and onion turn brown, I added crushed red chilies, salt, and turmeric to it.

After adding the spices, I roasted them for two to three minutes and then added the beans (that I had already removed the seeds from the pods) and started roasting them.

After the beans, I added the potatoes and started roasting the vegetables again so that the rawness was removed from the vegetables and the spices were well absorbed.

After the vegetables were cooked enough, I added two cups of water to the curry to make a broth so that it would have some gravy.

After adding water and bringing it to a boil, I put it on medium flame for 10 to 15 minutes.

Now after 15 minutes, you can see that the vegetables are cooked perfectly and some broth has also formed in it. My today's recipe is completely ready.

And now lastly I sprinkled a little hot spice on top of it.
I finished it in about 25 minutes. It was very delicious and spicy.

Final Look:

As you can see it looks very tasty and spicy.
I have served it with boiled white rice for lunch.

I hope you will definitely try my recipe once.
I will wait for your comments. Now we will meet in the next post with a new recipe. Until then, Good Bye...🤗

Oh this looks very interestingly yummy 😋

I forgot to ask, would 25 mind enough for shelled beans to be fully soften?

Yes, the fresh beans are already very soft.
10 to 15 minutes is enough to cook or steam them.
If you are using a pressure cooker, five minutes will be enough.
The other hard beans which we call kidney beans. They take more time and are soaked in water for some time before cooking so that they soften to some extent.
