Hilsha is our National fish. So you can guess the hype. It's a very flavourful fish but full of fine bones. So the best to enjoy this fish using your hands or you can deep fry them.
We usually buy Hilsha once or twice for the whole year during the season, when the price is affordable. So storing them properly is important. Once you store them properly, you can have them for up to 5-6 months.
In this video, I'm sharing how I prepare the fish to store. They will be ready to cook, fry, and make different curries in this way. You can store other fish in this way as well. But Hilsha usually doesn't get a bad smell even after a few months of storing.
