
Wahhh! I can't really leave Mom alone even just for a second. Even with his aching legs, when it comes to foods or drink that is not allowed for her, she can walk faster just to get those. I just turn my back at her to eat my lunch after she finished hers but when I look back, I saw her walking fast to the fridge. At first, I thought she just wants a cold water. But then, when I move closer to her and asked, she said she wants to drink this fruit juice called C2, apple flavor. I was able to stop her when she attempted to get the bottle of C2. I can't help but scold Mom because of what she did, what I did is get the cold water and insisted that she should just drink water.

To be honest, we don't always stop Mom to eat or drink what she wants. We sometimes indulge her, we let her eat chocolate, we let her drink that juice, ee let her eat her favorite peanut or some junk foods that she wants but in limited amount and as long as it is not fatty foods, we allow her to take them. There are really just times that we can't stop her completely because she become too sulky -like a kid! Hahh, its really hard to take care of elderly people. What makes it really harder is when we have to say "No" and we're really just doing it for her own sake too. Aigooo, what a stubborn oldies (≧▽≦)

And so today, its just me and her at home, Mommy D visit her sister with her other sister in Langgang. I thought I will not cook today because we still have fried chicken from yesterday. But then, Mommy F doesn't eat much vegetable these days so I thought I should really prepare some vegetable dish today. I convinced her to have Radish Salad or just anything but she doesn't want anything, but I forced her, lol. I forced what I want so we'll have veggies today. Sadly, theres no radish available at home and coz ee always have second plan, I asked Mama that if there's no radish, then she can just buy Squash. So I still cook today for lunch ෆ╹ .̮ ╹ෆ


Here's a pretty squash, not sure what grams it is, but maybe more than half kilo. This one cost 36 pesos.


And I'll be using two of these fried chicken here just to give this simple dish a taste of chicken.


The ingredients are: squash, onion, garlic, salt, chicken cubes, water cooking oil, three sliced of fried chicken. I just cute the squash lioe this, a lil bigger than bite size.


Cooking time! I just sauteed the onion and garlic, as you can see I put just a small amount of vegetable oil. I also sauteed the fried chicken which I cut into small size.


While sauteeing them, I added the pepper and a pinch of salt for it to taste. Although the fried chicken already has the seasoning but I will put a water in it so we need a bit more of salt, just really a pinch. We don't want it to get too salty


So I added the squash next to sautee it a bit. Then I poured cup of water in it.


We'll just wait for the squash to soften. Let's cover it to make that happen real fast!


And by the way, we also have leftover rice from last night so we'll have fried rice with lots of garlic today.


And the veggies done! See, it's really that simple. It doesn't have much ingredients but it still taste okay. But Mommy F said it doesn't taste anything ʘ‿ʘ. Like where did all the seasonings I put go? Lol. I cook it without much salt in it so she really just want it a lil salty (╥﹏╥), aigoooo. But I enjoy it. And at least I made her eat some vegetable today.


And here's our yummy fried rice. I only put salt on it, because the dishes I made already had flavor, I didn't put seasoning on our fried rice. But it has garlic so it still taste good \(^o^)/
