We're on our way to the market right now to buy Tilapia. Mommy F doesn't want any chicken dish right now especially we've been eating like almost everyday, lol. What can we don though, that's the only meat that is okay for her. And she doesn't really want lagidlid, galunggong or bangus because of her gout so no other choice but just chicken.

But this time, she choose Tilapia for today's lunch. Tilapia is always fresh so it's a good choice. And no matter what the weather is, they are always available in the market, same with bangus. (◍•ᴗ•◍)

Look at all that Tilapia, there's a lot so we take our time choosing a fatty Tilapia. We got the big one and it cost us 77 pesos, that's for one big Tilapia.

And here's the Tilapia, it's really big. I immediately clean it after arriving home. I also soaked it in salt with vinegar just to remove the smell of fish or something haha. Well, I just followed what Mommy D said, UwU. Ahhh, I soaked it for like 5 minutes.

After soaking it with salt and vinegar, I wash it again then rub salt in it together with garlic, pepper, MSG, just a lil bit. I marinate it there for 15 minutes. It would be awesome if there's a fillings inside of it's belly like tomatoes, ginger, garlic, onions but we don't have them as of the moment. Lol. So this will do

While waiting, I took that time to eat a morning snacks. I bought this in the market, it's a cheese bread. Love that it is still fresh, bot hot anymore but yeah, I can tell that it was bakes today. And I really thought the cheese in it would be a lil salty, that's how I want my cheese bread you see. But this one was on a sweet side. But it's okay, it still taste good. One of this cost 5 pesos by the way, not bad. (✿^‿^)

After 15 minutes, it's ready!
And i'll be using Mama's dirty kitchen again...

I'm surrounded with greens here so i'll surely enjoy grilling the fish. Ehe. And yep, i'll grill the Tilapia, as per Mommy F's request.

I'm still making a fire here when Mama suggested something. She said I should wrap the fish with ginger leaves. And I was like "yeah, it's actually not a bad idea." And so I did that..

The fire's ready, so it's grilling time! The charcoal I used today is a good one. I don't need to keep on fanning for it to keep the fire. And... The fish is fatty that it release it's own oil in it, and coz of that it creates a lil fire with the charcoal. Nicey, nicey!

There it is, the ginger leaves is really helping. Although I didn't remove the fish scales, this leaves can be added as a protection too for it not to get burn

And it still got burn.... Or not? Haha. Just kidding. Although the outside was burn, you just scrape its scales and the burnt ginger leaves abd you'll see that it was grilled just fine. See ♪┌|∵|┘♪. The saltiness is just right but sadly, it still has that strong smell of a fish. I couldn't remove it completely despite my effort of soaking it with vinegar /ᐠ。ꞈ。ᐟ. Mommy F eat half of it but the whole time, her face is, you know, ಠ﹏ಠ, tilapia really really fishy. This is the reason why we don't eat it at home, we rarely eat this I think this is the first this year ƪ(‾.‾“)┐
