I made it through the baking series to create the Christmas Cookie Trays. It was assembly day for 13 trays that hubby happily delivered to all the neighbors. I'm happy to say that all the recipients in the neighborhood were ecstatic.
It was many years ago that I started this cookie tray tradition, and now a few of the neighbors have started to share theirs as well. It is fun to see the many different types that come our way. One young couple made a cookie that had a gender reveal inside. How cute is that! I guessed a girl, but alas, the cream was blue.

All the cookies are lined up and I'm ready to start putting them together.

Also, I put together 4 different chocolate candies to add to this year's selection.

Normally I do double batches of each recipe, this year I cut back because I knew I wanted to add the chocolates to the trays. It was hard to not have 2 of each variety to give out, but somehow, I made it work out.

The cookies that I had the most of helped to make up the difference and I don't think anyone would have compared what their tray had on them; my husband had to remind me not to be so concerned about not giving two of every one of them. ;-)

Six trays done, and 7 more to go! Once all of them were completed, I wrapped them each in plastic wrap and hubby was ready to deliver them to all our friends.

Needless to say, I'm happy to have made it through another Christmas Cookie Giveaway. I have linked all the recipes that I made this year for you if you desire to check them out for yourself. I wish you all a very Merry Holiday Season filled with peace, joy, and much love.
