
Hello Hive Friends! HAPPY FRIYAY! 🥳 The weekend is here, and I’m celebrating with a little food adventure. Today’s meals may be simple, but they’re packed with flavor, comfort, and joy—plus, I’ve got my loyal fur baby Cardo the Chow Chow keeping me company.
Breakfast started light, just enough to fuel me for the day. By lunchtime, my cravings led me straight to one of my favorite comfort foods: tortang talong. This eggplant omelet never fails to make me feel at home, and I couldn’t resist frying one up.

To make things even tastier, I paired it with leftovers from last night’s dinner: ginamos (fermented fish) and Mega Tuna Spicy Lemon. The combination of savory, tangy, and spicy flavors was a perfect match for the tortang talong.

Even though I’m spending the day alone, I’ve grown used to it since my family lives a bit far away. But I’m never truly alone—Cardo, my fluffy Chow Chow, is always by my side. His presence makes every meal feel like a celebration.

Dinner will likely be another round of tortang talong (yes, I love it that much!) with a little ginamos on the side. Simple meals, but they bring me happiness every single day.
