Hello Hive Fam! Special shoutout to my fellow Filipino blog writers who continue to inspire me with their stories, recipes, and life updates. Today, I wasn’t sure if I’d even write anything. My mind has been clouded with personal and family issues, and honestly, I almost gave in to the thought of skipping a post. But then I remembered, Hive has always been my safe space, my go-to platform whenever I feel sad, hurt, or overwhelmed. So here I am, sharing a little piece of my day with you.

This morning, I sat staring at my canned goods after breakfast, feeling no appetite and no motivation. The weight of my thoughts made even the simplest task feel heavy. But eventually, I decided to open two cans of Argentina Corned Beef. I cooked them the way I usually do: sautéed with garlic and onions, then added an egg for extra flavor and texture.

It wasn’t fancy, and I regret not taking photos of the finished dish. All I have are the two cans to show you, but that’s okay. Sometimes, it’s not about the perfect presentation. It’s about the comfort food brings. That simple recipe became my viand for lunch, and the leftovers carried me through dinner.

Even if today’s blog isn’t filled with grand adventures or beautiful photos, it’s real. It’s me, sharing a slice of life, reminding myself that writing, even about the simplest things, can lighten the load I carry.

Thank you, Hive Fam, for being here and for reading my little update. Your presence makes this space feel less lonely, and I’m grateful for the community we’ve built together. Until next time, may we all find comfort in small joys—even if it’s just a humble plate of corned beef. 💙
