What's up, everyone? I'm back!!! I've been away for a long time. I'm so sorry; it's just that a lot has been happening these past months, and I can't seem to find a time or motivation to write, buttttt I'm officially back. So for today's blog I'm going to share an experience that happened in Dec. When my cousin, whose name is Cate, visited us from America, she was 18 years old and she stayed at my grandma's house in Catmon for like a month with her mother. After a week since they arrived here in the Philippines, I and my cousin, whom we will call Niña, decided to tour her in Cebu. So on a beautiful morning, I and Cate went to grab a bus; it's just me and Cate since Niña is already in Cebu. The bus was packed, and I asked Cate if she was okay standing on the bus, but luckily she's okay with it. While we were standing we were also chatting, and I could see the other passengers looking at my cousin like she was an alien from another world.

I told her about it; she just laughed and said she's used to it. After hours in the traffic, we arrived at the north terminal, and we went to SM Mabolo to eat and meet up with Niña, and the first thing we did was eat since I and Niña were starving, but Cate just ate a Halo-Halo. While we were eating we were talking about where we should go next, and since Cate had to buy some souvenirs for her friends in the US, that's what we did next, finding souvenirs that her friends would like.

After we ate, we went to look around the mall, and I couldn't pick every souvenir that she bought, but I did take a picture of this particular souvenir because it was so funny. So one of her friends asked for something funny, so we looked around, and then we saw this thing. It was carved and it's like a man inside a barrel, and when you pull the barrel upwards, something will come out, and it was funny, hahaha( the one that i encircle ). That's why Cate decided to buy that for her friend.

And the last souvenir that we went to look for was an electric guitar strap for his friend, but it was so hard to find, but in the end we did find it. After that one we went to a photo booth to commemorate our reunion and also for memories.

After that we went to Santo Nino Church, but sadly we couldn't get in since both Nina and Cate were wearing tank tops, so we decided to go to Nina's house to standby, and we decided to go to the night market since Cate has never been to one. At 6 pm we went to the night market; we let her try Filipino barbecue since she never had it; we ordered tuna panga, pork barbecue, chicken intestine "tinaeh," and hanging rice "poso."

We let her have the first taste first of all the food, and she likes the tuna panga and the pork barbecue; she doesn't like the chicken intestine because of the taste and the thought of it. We went shopping after we finished our meal, but we were unable to find anything we wanted to buy, so we went to Metro. My cousin is posing for a photo outside the Metro. We find it funny, but she said it's for the memories that we could look back on in the future.

After we took some pictures of her, we went inside, and I think we were looking for her outfit for Christmas because she didn't bring any dress. After many try-ons of dresses, we find the perfect outfit for her, and after that we part ways with Nina since she was staying in Cebu, so I and Cate went home, and boy, there was a huge line in the terminal to get to the bus, but luckily we were able to get on the bus after 30 mins of waiting, and on our way home, I and my cousin talked about a lot of things, and I think we were a little closer because of that.

We were chatting so much that we didn't realize that we were almost home, and I let her say "para po." She was a little hesitant at first, but I begged her to do it just once, and she did, and all of the passengers were looking at us, and we were laughing when we got off the bus, and she said that she said it so horribly, but I assured her that it was good. When we got home, we just changed our clothes, and she came to me and said that I should try her favorite drink in the US, which was Dr. Pepper. She said that it tastes like a cough syrup, but for me it tastes like a candy, and I liked it, and she was shocked because not a lot of people liked it. After that we decided that it's time to go to bed since we also have another trip tomorrow. And that's it! Thank you for coming this far! Thank you for reading my blog, see you on the next trip!
