My feeding habits

One thing I’ve learnt since I started living alone is the habit of eating well with less money compared to spending much. Eating home-cooked food, when well calculated, is far less expensive than eating out. Damn! Eating out is so expensive!

The quality food that I eat are foods that are well prepared with fresh items from the market. I got this idea from home when I was in the village, where we got our food items directly from the farm, and it used to be so good to eat such. These days, when I go to the market to buy food items, I'm very picky; I select items that are very fresh in my sight. Even with frozen fish, to some extent, I know how to check if a fish has been stored for a very long time. This happens mostly when I'm buying smoked fish though. I can't use my money to buy rotten fish or meat. This also applies to tomatoes and other items too.

I'm someone who believes that eating quality food is not just about having everything complete, it's also about how hygienic and fresh the food items used are.

Apart from cooked foods, I'm also fond of special foods like bread, milk, coffee, and the rest. I take these very often, and even though they're not prepared by me, I believe in their nutritional content.

As for schedule, I don't have a fixed one, but that doesn't mean I skip breakfast or lunch.No. Sometimes I eat when I’m hungry, sometimes I eat when I just feel like eating and food is available, and most times I follow the scheduled times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

There are times I just get a craving even after I’ve had a meal already, I’ll go ahead and satisfy my craving because life is meant to be enjoyed, and feeding is part of enjoying life or don't you think so?

Thanks.
