Mother's hand-made wheat khidr

When I am at home, I always eat various types of food prepared by my mother. But most of the year I am away, which is why I always miss the delicious food prepared by my mother. However, when I go home, my mother tries to prepare a lot of things and feed them. In fact, a mother's attachment to her child is a little more. The last time I was at home, my mother cooked me wheat khidr. Which I don't remember eating very long ago. It is very easy to cook, as I have never seen my mother do. However, if others want, they can cook it in a different way.

I may be like many people, I only make wheat flour or gram flour. But rice or kheer can also be cooked and eaten with wheat. Which is very tasty to eat. First, the wheat should be dried well in the sun for a day. So that if there are any insects in it, they will come out.

Now you have to wash them well with clean water. You have to wash them several times. So that there is no dirt. Then put them in a pan, add some salt to it and put it on the stove and heat it. However, one problem is that it takes a long time to cook, which I saw my mother cooking. You have to put it on the stove and just stir it occasionally.

Cooking time on the stove

Now when the wheat is boiled, add about one liter of hot milk. Then if the amount of water is less, then add a little water. Then pour it into a pot or bowl. Now let it cool a little and start eating.

The interesting thing is that it is cooked only with salt. While eating, you have to mix something sweet with it. For example, sugar or jaggery. I ate it with jaggery. It is very fun to eat. Those of you who have eaten it will definitely know about its taste.
