I love a good market, and always try to find a local one on my travels. We're finally going to have a market in our town next month. I can't wait to see what stalls and products will be there.

I am not completely sure why such a big difference in price; maybe these vendors can get the potatoes from local farmers, or at least potatoes that don't have to go through so many hands where everyone adds a profit for themselves and then it reaches that high price. Also, these potatoes as not "washed" and packed in plastic bags, so another reason to prefer these from the market stall :))
